There is a reason I'm posting this. Ice ages come every 11,000 years. A mega ice age comes every 105,000 years. Both are due between now and 2012. The 11,000 year cycle happens because of increase and decrease of cyclical underwater volcanic eruption. The 105,000 mega ice age happens because of the changing shape of the orbit of the earth around the sun – circular to elliptical and then back to circular every 105,000 years. Both the cycles are overdue. They have actually started. Europe right now is in deep freeze. Japan and South Korea are experiencing the worst snowfall ever. Even New Delhi is experiencing the worst ever fog and cold weather. Do not get surprised to see New Delhi experiencing the weather of Moscow, Miami experiencing the weather of Chicago. Since the 105,000 cycle is overdue, the freeze can be real severe by 2012 and beyond. Some Geologists believe that global warming is causing the freeze because of manipulation of warm ocean currents and streams. The manipulation has occurred for many reasons. Global warming from human civilization is one reason. But much more serious is the cyclical increase in under ocean volcanoes and stretched geysers over miles. Such an eruption has recently been discovered in Indian Ocean stretching 45 miles releasing superheated steam to 750 degree F. Because of this extra heat ocean is getting evaporated. The resulting precipitation is forming the snow and eventually ice. In the last ice age, Montreal in Canada was under two miles of ice. NY was less than 400 feet of ice. The southern US has no ice but had the weather of Canada with very often snow fall. With our current technology, our civilization will survive the smaller cycle – the 11,000 year cycle that can produce a mini ice age. Food will be scarce and much of the northern hemisphere will be under deep ice with little life there. Serious migration of population will take place from north to south. The terrestrial civilization cannot survive the mega ice age that comes every 105,000 years. In that case the ocean levels will fall by 500 feet on an average. The whole earth will be under deep ice. How do we know if the ice age that is engulfing the earth is smaller or the mega one? Some geologists, astrophysicists and scientists believe if the mega ice age is starting then certain parts of the world will be very cold and under deep snow for a few years. At the same time many parts of the world will experience very mild winter. El Nino which is due in 2008-2009 can cause the mega ice age to come. A super volcano in Toba or Yellow Stone can also cause the mega ice age. Earth’s current orbit around the Sun suggests that any of these will instantaneously ( two months for example) put the earth into deep freeze. A burst of cosmic dusts from the center of the galaxy can also cause the same. Ummm ... the world is not a fucking Swiss watch. Ice Age cycles are only regular to within 5,000 years or so. The whole of "civilised" (and yes, I use the term loosely) human history is barely 5,000 years old. The idea that it's all going to come crashing down in our lifetimes is a purely egotistical one. Face it, folks. None of us is actually that important.

The science of estimating time is so absolutely ridiculous that you can throw any old arbitrary number out there in a discussion and it seems to stick. Those idiot scientist could carbon date a chicken bone from a tub of KFC fried chicken and come to the conclusion that it was a prehistoric predecessor to our modern day domestic chicken. The theory you are talking about has been out there for a while it is what has caused me to see the fallacy in depending on Google as the end all of search engines. If you search for the key players in the scientific community proposing theories not in the mainstream ideals of global warming caused by greenhouse gasses and most notably the internal combustion engine. You don't seem to find much. I subscribe to the theory that the carbon dioxide levels are increasing due to the warming of the oceans. The oceans are warming due to increased thermal activity in the ocean floor. I have read up on it and it makes good sense to me. Although some glaciers are decreasing in size others are growing. And we see the shift in the jet stream.
That's the problem with geology and meteorology, we haven't been around long enough to know what regular planetary cycles are. How the fuck do they know that this isn't just a normal warming cycle? After all, the planet is over 4 billion years old, and we've only been keeping records for this sort of shit for about 500 years, tops.

The same ones who ran around burning libraries and telling us the earth was flat after we knew it was round. The Man. Been keeping us down, had us down, and then rushed all this progress real quick so we won't "figure it all out" before it's too late. We found out too much, though, and we spread ideas like viruses. You can't really stomp it all out with some Great Deluge or plague anymore, we've grown too accustomed to our freedoms. The heart of my post was simple I have been doing research for myself on the weather we have been having as of late. I came across many different articles talking about the Ice Age and they all had 2012 in them. I have always thought that the calendar was weather related. Just because the records we have only go back so far does not mean we know for a fact that they did not have record keeping of there own or how they passed it down. Its like many things about the past we do not know about it, But since I'm more grounded in reality at the simple answer instead of long winded spins of simple problems. I would gather there calendar was weather based for crops and the like. I would not doubt if they knew a lot more then we give them credit for. So that's all its about. We will all see in 2012 or sooner. Also I use many different search engines for anything I'm doing. I'm not a slave to google.
That's all well and good until you think about the fact that past knowledge is useless if no one knows about it. You can learn everything in the universe there is to know, but if you don't pass it on none of that matters. There calendar might have been weather based, but most likely it was celestial. I don't know. That's the million billion dollar question. They're the same bunch who kept us down until now, years before 2012, and started rushing all this progress. They used what they knew of past technology and human behavior to weezle their way to the top so that they could lead us around. They're the ones who got this depression all planned up, and know how our planet really works. They probably killed Jesus too. Thumbs down to all is coincidence. But its pretty hard to peg down isnt it ? I remember landing in a prestine Europe were giant trees grew down to a shore of rounded stones.
