I see people every day who are opposed to pharmaceutical medicines because of their danger, but they are willing to take "natural" remedies if any are available.

Anyone have any experience with "natural" treatments for depression, anxiety, AD/HD, etc?

Natural = not tested by the FDA.

Which is why I am not a fan of Natural remedies.

Of course the Vicodin and percoset seem to be pretty nice (well hydrocodone w/apap a,d oxycodone - DAMN HMO!!!!) ;D

I can think of one but you'd have to get Bugs drunk.

    Ah.

Oh, by the way, would you please walk next door and shut my fence? I left it open over the weekend. No Kidding. My AD/HD was in full bloom.

I actually agree partly. I personally don't like the stuff, but I have seen lots of people that do OK on it. The problem is that it can't be dose regulated.

I suspect that if THC were synthesized and made into a timed release pill, it might have some efficacy in treating depression, anxiety, and maybe AD/HD.

    Maybe.

I don't do it either I just know people who do and they always seem alright. I have actually thought about it. I never told you my Doctor finally solved my sleep problem in the most odd way.

He has me drinking a glass of wine before bed. So far it's worked were nothing else has.

You know I take a medication that is effected to a great degree by simply grapefruit juice which apparently has an enzyme which in turn blocks the liver from processing it out of the blood stream and increasing its effectiveness multiple times over. So I'm thinking why not take about a tenth the dose then and simply wash it down with grapefruit juice.

The only reason I brought that up is that I tend to think wine works in a similar way for me. I buy boxed wine cause it stores better unlike a bottle that you feel the need to finish just because you opened it. Now I have a pretty good assortment of alcohol at the house for me its mixed drinks, wine and on rare occasion beer. But for me wine has an immediate effect twice as fast as a strong mixed drink. And beer is not even on the radar. I like the buzz but not the headache. I would likely bee a wino were it not for the headache after words.

The good thing about pharmaceuticals to me is the consistency. One less variable to consider but as Barry pointed out possibly this is not the case. That is unfortunate.

Have you tried this stuff Dwaine? I used to enjoy pot a lot for the good attributes enhanced audio perceptions as well as others. I never understood the "get a chick drunk to loosen her up" idea any guy who practices that technique really needs to change his strategy. Get her stoned and it will be a lot better for both parties, plus she will remember and maybe that will explain why all her friends are all sweet on you within a week after words.

I wonder if Meridol does not have that annoying "fade in fade out" effect or the "holy shit why did I just waste half a day watching kid cartoons" effect.

    I thought I was the only one.....<shame> ::) ::) ::)

But now I cant, with work and kids I feel this need to 'dad up' and live the whole 'do as I do' lifestyle.

You supposed to "Dad up," you low-expectation-having-mofo!!

And why is watching cartoons half a day considered "wasting" it? Cartoons and pop-up books are my primary sources of education.
