With their new Napstergirl campaign: www.napstergirl.com Napster appears to be taking a huge step towards attracting new customers. There was a European version too but that was way more explicit (hard to believe). Of course this is definately not going to be on TV, but is it ok for the internet to advertise? It is a MP3 service afterall.
You know normally I'd be opposed to what I think amounts to basically theft. But maybe taking a lot of the big profit out of the music industry is for the better. If that is it guides the industry towards more of a purist art form people who are in the industry because they have a passion for what they do. Do you think downloading music has this positive effect?
