My first (and last) handgun

    Suuuuuuure. Your hubby doesn't ask you to practice racking his shotgun in rapid succession, does he?

    Seriously, though - observing what is occasionally available (as all of the popular calibers sell out as soon as they hit the shelves) - about the only thing you could purchase, and actually purchase ammo for at this moment in time would be a .38 SPL (revolver - and yes, they do come in pink handles under the Rossi brand) - or, a .40 cal semi-auto pistol (less likely to find in pink off the shelf, but nothing surprises me anymore.)

    Point being, as far as handguns go, the most popular calibers that are near-impossible to find ammo for, and the two I've mentioned are about the only things we see on the shelves (if anything.) **your mileage may vary**

    Go to the store and ask what calibers they have, what sells out first, and what they're left with after the first two or three hours they're on the shelf. Then post it here.
