yeah, i was trying to get other people to start writing about this shit, but the police state thread kinda picked up all the slack. I don't really care, as long as someone talks about it. It kicks off in this stormy month of september.
Good to hear you are safe Barry. Might as well leave the Plywood up, besides it really enhances the value of your proprety in that area anyways I bet.
Oh yeah, Them: 1 Us: 0 This was just the first move. An economic depression brought on by the oil shortages in the U.S. would cause widespread panic and rioting and martial law being declared in many places. Or some more "natural" disasters. Or some terrorist attacks. You can deny knowing about natural disasters all you want though, even though they have billion dollar satellites and the best scientific minds working for them. So whatever backdoor event sneaks up on all these people who still think things are fine, sucks to be you.
I know the perception is that we dodge hurricanes all the time. The truth is, the real damage occurs near the water. I live about 8 miles inland, and have never had any damage. We have had direct hits, (and I mean literally the eye passed over us) with Georges and Ivan. Several others have come close. The worst thing we have had is a few trees damaged. The devastation you see if from storm surge, not wind. I can't understand why anyone would live less than 30 feet above sea level. The last few years have been real bad. The East Coast has had nothing. I expect the patterns will change again, and we will go another 20 years without a hit and the East Coast will catch it again. We are sheltering about thirty families from MS at our Church. All lived right on the water. They are really traumatized. Barry
