Someone help me get rid of all this SPAM! Someone thought it would be cute to put my e-mail address into a website trying to get free porn. Now I get spammed 30 times a day with the most worthless advertisements you can imagine. I even get one from a septic tank cleaning service about twice a day. I even get fake letters from women acting like they are e-mailing me cause they saw my "profile" somewhere, and when I try to see who it is.... it takes me to an ameteur porn site that I have to pay to see. WTF??? Someone help me stop this shit!!!!
i just use the bulk mail thing built in2 yahoo. if sum1 keeps spamming me & the spam blocker doesnt get it then there might be a link on the bottom of the message to unsubscribe from their mailing list.
Time to bail out, dude... just get a new email address, and never post it on the web. There are these little programs that run and check random webpages for anything that fits the "name@domain.ext" formula, and add it to spam lists. I just bail when I start getting shit in the mail. Never open any junk mail, either... sometimes they'll use HTML to load an image or link from their site that triggers something to tell them that the email account is active. Good luck.
