There's lot's of static electricity in the air. Anyone else notice that they've been getting shocked a lot more lately? I think it really started going off late last year.
I almost always get a shock when I touch any metal part of the door of my car as I'm getting out... oddly enough, I've not been noticing it as much lately... Either I'm breaking in the car, or there's foul work afoot...
You know smurf for the last 6 months we have been getting nailed by static in our room a lot more when we touch things. It does not even help to static guard the fucking place anymore.
I've hit upon the only logical explanation... Smurf, and possibly GJ, are stealing Lomo's static. Careful Lomo, maybe your SOUL is next!!
This weird cloud cover we've been getting this winter probably has something to do with it, and those hurricanes that juiced up the earth real good. I wonder what the ground to air lightning statics have been looking like lately? Or the other way around.
Careful there Smurf. You know They sent Lomo. And you They do not thirst for sleep and are watching. . . . . .waiting FOR YOU!
Lets examine the facts - 1. It is Winter time. 2. Lower humidity 3. Wool and Polyester clothes for warmth. 4. Cold dry seats vinyl seats. 5. All of the above make lots of static electricity. 6. You are getting shocked more often than say, maybe July. 7. It means NOTHING. Barry
No no no Barry, thanks to the erratic climate conditions it's been a hot ass winter and I've only worn shorts and wife-beaters the entire time. It's got to be something else, probably all these awesome Earth changes.
Where the hell do you live that you've had a "hot ass winter"? Winter took a while to kick in here on the east coast, but when it did, it was hardly hot ass. If I have to wear the thermals on the morning jog, it's a pretty normal winter.
Well we had it off and on, some cool days, most warm though. We had it in the 80's in early january, and were running the AC in our cars because it was hot. It was also in the 80's in late january, early february, mid-late february, and now. It was a late winter, and early spring. My Chinese peach tree is already bearing fruit, which is awesome because I can't wait. They try showing us the average and pointing that out like, "OOoooOhh, it was 8 degrees above normal." I wonder what the fucking daytime averages looked like, though. I'm sure they were even more than that.
HaHa! The warm air was rising pretty damn hard on sunday, or the electric conditions around Earth were erratic. Tornadoes set records for March 113, that's a helluva lot of tornadoes for one day... 150 is the average for the month I believe.
I got bored enough to actually read this post. Barry had it right it’s totally normal that there is more static in the winter time. This is like junior high school science, if not elementary school.
