This one's just for fun... Hell, I might even add a little scope to it. Beretta U22 Neos - .22LR caliber, 4.5" barrel. Full-length rail. Yeah, it's dirty as hell... Just put about 250 rounds through it. Adjustable rear sight, chamber 'ready to fire' indicator. Fun little toy... I think I might even order the 6" barrel version. Best part about this gun is that for $14, you can buy 550 rounds for it. By far, the cheapest day I've ever had at the range. Not really suitable for self-defense, but fun, nonetheless. Oh, and yeah, I kinda shot my passenger door with it. Oops. I'm just glad it was with this gun, and not a larger caliber.
...and the ammo's just as cheap! Talk about going from one extreme to the other. The last toy I bought was a 12-ga.
Yeah thats a great gun to plink around with and do it cheap and cost a good bit less then a pellet gun. Whats the adjustment knob? Adjustable trigger pull? If so thats a sweet option, .. just set to high while in the car.
That's what I thought at first, too - but it's actually used to remove the barrel for cleaning. Apparently an adjustable trigger is available as an option on the more deluxe models, and I think I'll probably get one in a 6" barrel, with that option.
Good idea the first thing that crossed my mind was while shooting longs through that short of a barrel is there a problem with excessive muzzel flash and accuracy loss due to the tumble effect that can be caused. For that gun to be fun using 22 long me thinks the long barrel best. And or tweek with the load so has to use a high burn rate.
Honestly, I'd meant to get the 6" all along, but as usual, this was an impulse buy, and the 6" wasn't 'in stock' at the store. Sufficing that, I was quite pleased with it's accuracy. It seems to be almost as accurate as the Five-seveN (albeit, with *much* less damage) - I need to take a picture of the target from when I tested out the Five-seveN... That fucking bullet passes through the paper so fast it scorches the paper like no other weapon I've fired. It literally leaves a black ring.
Funny... I used to live in Rhode Island... I heard quite a few people called Massholes... Nevermind it was usually someone's opinion from "The Biggest Little State in the Union." Ugh. At least the leaves were nice in the fall... And organized crime would take care of a protected liquor store robber before the cops did.
