I saw that shit finally! (well, the last half of it, at least) - It's the same woman. Sound asleep this morning, and the phone rings. It was a coworker calling to tell me to turn the TV on. I didn't have a DVD-recorder hooked up to the TV at the time, but I was able to record the last segment on a VHS tape (how the fuck I found one of those is beyond me). In fact, a few days after I had first posted about the show, I saw her at her new job. She was buying milk, eggs, cheese, etc. (government "W.I.C." program - "Women, Infants, and Children"), and she was with a girl that seemed vaguely familiar. I ended up switching lines because that WIC shit takes forever to run through the register, and after I did, I made eye contact with the girl she was shopping with. Talk about a small fucking world... It was some chick I had a one night stand with a few years ago, and to this day, I can't think of her name. Even funnier still, I recall her mentioning a few years ago that she had both of *her* kids taken away from her by Child Protective Services. Like peas in a pod, I tell ya, they should make perfect roommates. I still need to get a whole copy of the show... It's season 1, ep. 25., if anyone ever runs across it.
I think he meant she said that around the time of the one night stand. That must have been her pickup line. WIC recipient: "So, I had my kids taken away." Lomo: "Oh, yeah? Wanna fuck?"
I was thinking more along the lines of, they took her kids away, so now she has new kids so she can qualify for WIC. Lomo Jr. When he came out probably sounded like the old atari 2600 pac man game when you died. bong boong booong. I hated that crappy game. 'bang bang bang bang bang' It totally had the toy store in a frenzy when it was set to 'drop' people thinking it was going to be like the arcade game, ANNNNN. Of course Ms. Pac-Man on the 5200 was pretty good.
Noooooo... The broad on the TV show had the WIC, but she was there with her friend (and probably roommate) - That's the girl I had the one night stand with. Oh, and Dwayne... I think I actually have a Tivo somewhere, is it possible to use it as a DVR by itself, or do I have to subscribe to some shit just to use the thing?
