Did anyone else watch this last night? I think they pretty much summed up the entire story of every episode in one episode. Kind of lame, over dramatic, and the best line of the whole thing was, 'why should we rebuild the 9th ward and bring back the criminals?'
Fox, at 9. Some of the around town shots were cool, and I didnt know the criminals were removing street signs to confuse the cops, that was pretty neat to ponder. The show is about 2 cops in post-Katrina New Orleans. One, whose partner abandoned him during the storm, the other a 2-tour veteran, from cincinnati, whom we later find out is actually an ex con that escaped during the storm and joined the Army to escape his troubled past. But they spilled all the beans in the first episode. I guess, it was the pilot, so maybe they were more worried about getting the show on the air than future plot twists.
I thought that it might be good if it wasn't on primetime television. Oh, shit... nevermind. I was thinking of another show. I saw a something about a show in which a guy gets put away for murder and then comes back as a cop or something and I think goes after the people that put him there.
Yea Jonesy from the 'dream catcher' or Col. Winters from 'Band of Brothers'. That does look pretty good, it would have made for a good HBO show, cause then they could have put some profanity and nudity. Which all good shows need.
Yeah, that's it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_(US_TV_series) I think if it were a Showtime show, it would be good. Dwaine is going to flame me for it, but Showtime has good shows. Weeds has been the funniest it has ever been this season and I cannot wait for Dexter to come back.
I dont know, entourage cracks me up. Other than that I just watch the Dukes of Hazzard over and over again. Mr. Takanoshi. They need another edgy show though that is for sure. I cant watch that one about the thugs in Baltimore. I dont even know if it still comes on. They need to bring back '1st and Ten' that show was hilarious. Mind of the Married Man had its moments. Tales from The Crypt was pretty good. That's what they need, a 1/2 hour twilight zone type show. Not so much like that hitch hiker show, but some half hour show with weird plot twists.
I dumped HBO over two years ago and the only thing I miss are the documentaries. They had some decent ones, but so does Showtime on occasion. Showtime has this show called "This American Life" which was pretty cool because it was a documentary that made you think. God, I should get free Showtime for as much as I talk about it. http://www.sho.com/site/thisamericanlife/home.do
