I'm off this sememster. I need my financial aid to kick in. My mom, my sister, and I make less then $30k a year. I just did my taxes and my FAFSA, so I should be back next semester. I do the best in school when I work full time and go to school full time, it forces me to buckle down and pay attention. Otherwise I goof off too much and don't get my shit done.

 

Less than 30k a year in California. Damn. You can get by pretty well here for 30k a year, I couldnt imagine it out there.

I wish I was done with school, again. Ive got 2 AS and over 10 years in the field, but when I got this job back in jan 04 they offered tuition reimbursement and my boss kinda hinted at me going ahead and getting my BS. I didnt really want to, but hey it makes me a more valuable employee so I will finish up. LOL. I have 7 classes to go. LOL.

 

Only 132 units to my Ph.D, yeah for me.

I am stopping when I am done. I dont want a Ph.d I dont want a Masters. I just want to retire, smoke some weed and drink some beers. LOL.

 

Philosophy pretty much gives me a hard-on, so I'm going balls out with it. I've already got a job offer for a professorship, so I'm not to worried about a job. Just have to get my degree.

I assume anyone with degrees in, English, Histiory, Philosophy and Sociology, are either teachers or working outside of their field :?

I had been drinking for eight hours straight prior to that. And my common sense kicked in: go to bed and wake up with a mild hangover, or stay up cyber-drinking and wake up with a major one?

That last Kirin was delicious, though.

 

Yeah, pretty much. Academic pursuits are really the only viable options for my chosen major. Hence the minor in business.
