INDY IV spoilers...minor spoilers. * Indy, played once again by Harrison Ford, and the Soviet army are both searching for a priceless skull made of crystal in the jungles of South America. * The Russians take Indy hostage and then blackmail him by threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Marion Ravenwood, portrayed by Karen Allen. Cast as the son is Shia LaBeouf. * Cate Blanchett plays an evil Russian who grills Indy whilst tied to a chair. * Indy first finds out who his son (Abner Ravenwood) is while they are both sinking in quicksand.
So what year is it supposed to be. If he was in his late 30s (ish) during WWII, then he would be around 105 now? That would be pretty lame. So I am guessing they are going more with a late 40s early 50s time frame? I guess the Russians will have to do. I think Indiana Jones and the veil of al qaeda sounds kind of lame too.....
I don't know anyof the other details, i have as much info as has been spilld onto the internet. If anyone has more or better info Iwould love to hear it. I am excited about this project, not one of these movies has ever failed, why would this one. I dont think we need a young Indy to carry this movie so it should do fine. This franchise survived "The Temple of Doom", this episode will be as good as "The Last Crusade".
Calm down, man... I'm just laughing at how one of the Internet 'spoilers' is a breakdown of the title for the movie. It just seemed funny when I read it, that's all. Like leaking the information about the crystal skull constitutes a 'spoiler' when it's the name of the fucking movie... That's all. I'm sure you didn't think 'spoiler' when you read that one, else you wouldn't have spacified 'minor'... I've got the trilogy on both VHS and DVD (maybe even LaserDisc), and I'm going to watch it when it comes out... Unlike some, I like sequels...
I have always enjoyed the Indy Series, even the one with Short-Round. I guess win River Phoenix(I think thats his name) kicked the bucket it kind ended any ideas of doing the young Indy stuff.
