I really wanted this to be a good movie, really really wanted it to be.....if I ever have to see Shia Lebouf swinging on vines with monkies ever again I will poke my eyes out with a sharp stick.

Save your money folks....rent it when it is released on DVD/BRay around xmas time...

I saw this movie tonight and I loved it. You have to check reality at the front door, as with all Indiana Jones movies but it was a pretty good story and a really fun movie to watch.

Harrison Ford looked pretty old at the beginning but as the movie progressed, you totally forget that the guy is 65 years old and he starts looking like the Indy from years gone by.

Definitely worth seeing, in my opinion.

Why do these movies always have to have some horrid death scene. I fucking felt sorry for that guy and the ants.

Well the movie wasn't the worst thing I have ever seen, I just had much higher expectations for it. The problem is that when Indy stepped into the digital age he lost a lot of his magic. And the dialogue felt clunky at best, there just wasn't a lot of heart or soul put into it. And while I agree that when you go to the movies you need to take things with a grain of salt there were a lot of things happening that were not par for the course. The Indy movies have always had a sense of realism to them (minus the endings, the power of the Ark, the Holy Grail and a heart wrenching scene with Mola Ram that I realize wasn't the ending). Highly improbable things happened but things that the viewer felt as though could possibly happen. But not things like crawling into a fridge and surviving a nuclear explosion, or the monkey vine thing. Shia did a really good job in this movie in my opinion, well after he dropped the initial knife wielding fonzie tough guy crap in his opening scene. But so much of this movie seemed forced and just an excuse to put Indiana Jones on the screen. I could nitpick about a lot of things in this movie (like the skull is highly magnetic, at least until you put it in an old burlap sack). I'm not even mad about the alien factor being brought in, it is a part of archeolgy. This film just fails to capture the magic the other three did, and as I said before I think a lot of that has to do with the movie being shot in the digital age where the other three where all about models and stuntmen etc....

Over all I give this movie a 6.5 out of ten, it had a few moments, and seeing the Man in the Hat on the big screen made it worth seeing, it just wasn't what it should of been. Lucas fucking up a movie I can understand but Speilberg knows better.

Im pretty sure there will be a r5 leaked of this in the next week or so. Big titles like this have like 50 cams, and a questionable Telecine, then BLAMMO! the mafia leaks a r5, dvd quality, (think, the Simpsosns, spiderfuck, ect. )
