My buddies gotten really good, hes slangin his wares round the local and what not, makin really good headway. Was wondering if there were any coloring tips and tricks you could share with him.
Tons of "tricks" I could share... Double fumeing with clear spins looks nice, preheat your tube, then turn on your centerfire only, heavy oxidized flame (cool flame) then fume heavy gold, (22K or better) the class will turn a bronze cranberry color, then heat up a piece of 8 mill clear and spin alot on tube, thin and fast. then do 6 to 8 rakes, go back to your center fire, use a busy hot flame and fume silver, switch to oxidize flame and fume gold again, then busy flame silver again, then oxy flame fume gold one last time. Then rake 6 to 8 rakes between the rakes you already did. then make your spoon, you will get pinks, reds, greens, blues, golds, and bronze colors with creenish like arrows in the rakes, with the use of no color. Throw on some lenses, make a 4 to 5 inch spoon, that you can wholesale for $9 to $12
