Some of you have used the Fuglyornot Image Uploader to host pictures for the forums. http://www.fugly.com/ornot/fugly/images/upload/ I just finished updating the script so that it cleans out any images that are not in the Fuglyornot database. What that means is, if you've uploaded an image to it, and it hasn't also been submitted to Fuglyornot.com and approved, it's destined for deletion. How big of a problem is this? Does anyone need me to back them up so that they won't lose their images? Also, if anybody knows of specific forum threads where images from that page are being used, will you please list them here? I would like to back them up and move them to another directory so that we don't get a bunch of broken images in here.
I went ahead and ran the cleanup and don't really notice any major difference in the number of broken images here or anywhere else. In fact, most of the images in here are little red X's anyway. I think Invision Powerboard will allow each user a certain amount of disk space to upload pics so that might be a good choice for a new board. I backed up everything that was in the fuglyornot uploader directory so, if anyone had anything in there that they were using and now can't find it, just ask and I will probably be able to get it back for you.
