too. That colonoscopy and endoscopy sucked. The endo wasn't so bad, but the colonoscopy was. The nurse wheeled me in and told my husband that I would be asleep for a month and that in her 15 years, she had never had to give someone so much sedation. I guess normally they give up to 4 doses and I was given 11. I'm 5'7 and weigh anywhere between 133-135 so I'm not a giant monster. I'm not sure what I was given but I think it was Versed and something else and it was terrible. I remember parts of it, I remember being in pain and today I am sore all over, so I am thinking I may have been combative... or tag teamed. Oh, and they think I have Crohn's Disease. Have to wait for biopsy results, get more blood work and take 9 pills a day.
The hottest girl I've ever known in real life has Crohn's but yeah it does seem to be more prevalent nowadays. And good luck on the recovery Pukester. Hmm I probably could have combined those two posts huh? Lazy me...
I never herd of the illness till about 5 years ago and you would be about the 6th person I would be personally aware of having it.
Weird. My grandma had it and my aunt has it. The word "biopsy" just doesn't sit well with me. I'm going to be sweating it until I hear just what that meant. I was doped up and barely remember talking to the doctor afterwards. I just remember asking where my glasses were and being told that they were on my face and for some reason that strikes me as funny now because at the time I was like, "Oh. Okay."
get well soon.. scratch that. I hope that some of your nastier illnesses recede, so that some of the weaker ones can balance all the others out and you reach a sort of unwell 'equilibrium' of sorts
That's sweet. This has put the vertigo in the back seat, so I know what you are trying to say and I appreciate it.
