I need serious help. I got some bad malware called anti spyware 2009. It will barely let me go to websites without redirecting me to their "warning" page telling me to buy their product because the site is not safe. I need some good FREE anti-malware software. For some reason (probally due to this shit) malwarebytes isnt launching. Can someone post a link to something I can get for free to fix this mess?

It disables malwarebytes. It'll block anti-virus, websites and/or message boards related to virus removal. I had it last year. I ended up reformatting/reinstalling Windows (at least I learned how to do that). I've had to do it twice to other people's computers too. I don't even know where I was when I got it. I think I was at drugs.com or some drug related website. I was looking for side effects for a drug and the pop came up. I didn't close out the box, I used task manager, but it was too late. You can kill the process in task manager, It's pretty easy to spot in the list. That'll stop the pop-ups, but your best bet is just to save the junk you want and wipe out your computer.

The assholes who create that BS need to be shot.

Thats one of the worst viruses for business that use a lot of poorly designed web based applications forcing them to leave IE open to vulnerabilities. And their employees get that pop-up that tells them their system needs Antivirus 200X version update in order for them to be removed. Different variants have been around for about five years pulling the same stunt. I say reinstall cause your screwed. If I were sitting in front of your computer I would try to help but like I said so many different variants with different fixes.

I didn't have the latest version of avg running at that time, so it was my bad.

What antivirus junk are you running?

Yeah, even when I would go to places to manually delete the virus, I didn't have the same registry keys, so I reinstalled. If I got it again, I'd immediately reinstall and not even dick with trying to get rid of it.

I managed to find a keygen for spyware doctor. I honestly have no idea where i got this damn thing from. The last website I went to was called DOPEROMS or something like that. I didnt download anything from it... so it must have just installed itself. A real pain in the ass. Isn't there some way to find out who is profitting from that BS? I mean.. the idiots who PAY them to have it removed have to send their money somewhere...
