I have no idea why I am sharing this with you assholes,

But I am thuroughly addicted to Magic The Gathering. Tonight I made an ungodly zombie deck to play at a magic social, just to be a fucking dick. This deck will whomp your tight vigin asses, like an 8 year old trapped at Neverland ranch. IF anyone wants the list of what I ma playing, Ill post it. Just don't steal my deck you bum gobblins

back when i used to play i had this one legend, tsao something or other a red, black legend 7/7 2 black to destroy target legend. It fucking pwned. when i moved back to houston i gave away all my decks

Maybe it's my attention span, but I need more interaction and visuals than staring at a deck of cards. Someone got me to play a long time ago when I was drunk/stoned out of my mind, just didn't seem like something I would be interested in even if I had been sober.

Different strokes, I suppose. Maybe if I gave it more of a chance I'd be interested, but I don't even have time for my own 'pre-existing' hobbies, much less something new.

What really had me rolling on the ground was when another friend took me to his "Vampire: The Masquerade" gathering. A bunch of fucking morons (some that badly needed to bathe), all dressed up like it was fucking halloween, pretending to be vampires walking around and interacting with each other. The entire foundation of their 'battles' was the classic paper, scissors, rock game. That's it. Let's say you're a 13th generation vampire and you meet up with someone that is an 11, and they don't like the shoes you're wearing - just challenge them to a game of paper, scissors, rock - and show them who's boss!

It was so fucking sad... I laughed until I cried.

 

Majic is OK. Some kids I know taught me how to ply a couple years back. I never got into it, but it was fun. D&D is still better in my opinion.
One can never go wrong with zombies anyway.

Yes I agree, i have seen one of those parties, I was like WTF? I mena there is no structure or nothing, just like D&D for retards, with no DM or dice...

 

Ever heard of the paper/pencil game Rifts?

 

Yeah, Rifts was pretty dope. Thing is I spent most of my time making new characters than actually playing. It was still fun though.

Oh yeah, there's a Magic video game for the X-Box. I played it at some game store and it was pretty cool. I'll probably pick it up soon.

 

Hehe, I'm running a Rifts game, Tuedsay nights at 9pm. Its with a new group of people who've never played, so we're starting simple, trying to keep the classes to stuff out of the first source book

 

me and my friends used to play magic. my decks sucked cause i am poor and people just gave me the cards they didnt want. after a while i bought some of my own and now i have a black deck that will destroy any white deck. i built it because my friend had a white deck. when i played him with my black deck the game only lasted like 10 turns.
