Saturday night I was driving by this cruddy closed grocery store, and watched a cat fly out of a car (thrown) ... it was a red Mercury with Nascar stickers... and a 400lb blond driving. anyway I pull in, do the "kitty kitty" she would come close, but was scared. I could tell she was about to pop pregnant. Anyway today at 10pm I put a trap out with tuna...came back at 11pm, she was not in it, saw her at the front of the closed store... so we kinda chased her to the bushes were the trap was. She smelled it, was about to go in, and a fucking cop comes up. scares her off. He wanted to know what I was doing out there, I tell him, show him spay neuter flyers and crap... point to the trap. He shines a light to it, and we see the glowing eyes sitting next to the trap. He asked if I had permission from the grocery store to trap animals there... WTF? I swear he was like 18. I had just dropped off the baby at the Arabs, and it was just me and my 9 year old... he said " I dont think it is so great for kids to be out this late" School is out... duh... and I tell him I have seen kids at Wal-Mart at 3am. Anyway he insists to call Animal Control... Thank god the one on call was one that knows me very well. As we are talking the cat goes in the trap and SNAP... she is caught. The cop lets me go ...still insist I am stealing pets... idiot. so anyway, I get her home, and she is nice and loving... since she has only been stray for 48 hours. Well now she is curled up and acting like she might have the damn babies tonight.... FUCK . I hope she does not and can get spayed tomorrow. But my luck lately... she will spit out 7 tabby or black kittens tonight (those are the hardest to adopt out). What a piece of shit to throw her out like that... fucking Nascar fat ass low life scum.
Yep, some people suck. My mother-in-law had a couple of strays in her yard that she feeds. It took her about 2 weeks to catch them and get them fixed, but she did. And now they just hang out all day on her porch. They do bring the occasional prize to the porch, you know a bird or field mouse they caught. You ought to see it when she puts the flea drops on them......
