I don't know why the fuck my my ex wife sicced the C.S.A. on my arse. Maintainence is fucking killing me. A bill for £9500 landed on my mat this morning, listen up kids, DO NOT leave it in to soak.

You will thank me for this. For the rest of tonight I will proceed to shove sharp objects into a makeshift voodoo doll thing that sort of (if you squint) resembles the ex, paying particular attention to the groin and eye area.

    I taped the mouth up.

It happened a couple of times before, my workaround was to chuck my job in, it keeps the wallet raping fuckers at bay for a while. It's a ball-ache getting new jobs every once in a while but needs must. I ain't joking about the amount either, so I will do what all good Englishmen do in times of trouble and get totally fucked on strong beer.

    Bottom's up and all that

Dont be fucking stupid! Send the bill back to the CSA with a letter saying something along the lines of:
"I'll start paying child support when I'm allowed access to my children, if I'm not involved in their upbringing I wont be paying for it." etc etc.
Doesn't matter if you have been in contact with your kids, they have to prove it first. Just blame her for it all.

Yeah, fucking cool idea. I'm all for condemning your kids to a shit life just because you're too much of a pussy to take responsibility and the notion of actually forking out some cash for their upkeep cramps your sense of style and individuality.

but there's also a thin line between caring and looking after your kids and having your ex use that as a way to screw you as much as she can.. i have a friend going through this kind of thing now.. i've told him to go through the courts 'cos she's not fit to be a mum anyway... psycho bitch

Well I can't speak for the UK legal system, but where I come from I'm afraid I find most legal judgements regarding custody and support make pretty good sense, and are opposed only by a bunch of whingers who themselves are desperate to get back at their exes.

Strange way to do it, it seems to me, by making your kids (or should the emphasis be your kids?) suffer.

No one's going to suffer because of that. Why do you think the CSA has sent the bill, not his ex's lawyers sending him letters threatening legal action? His kids wouldn't see a penny of the money he gives them, it's just a tax on being single and having kids, it's designed to put some money back into the governments pockets.
And maybe he doesn't get to see his kids, maybe his ex fucked off with them, hiding from him and using the CSA to screw him. In that case it wouldn't only be perfectly legal (seeing as you haven't a clue about the UK legal system), but it would be perfectly moral aswell for the reasons I pointed out above. If you dont have a hand in bringing up your kids, you shouldn't be forced into paying for it.

    Here's a little update.

1 I left my first wife when I found out she had been screwing someone from her work. That is the simple part.

2 She has never refused me access to my kids, and I pay maintainance on them as I have been doing for the last two and a half years, that has never been a problem.

3 The letters from the CSA came about after an argument brought about by her mother and one of her friend's, she contacted them a while ago and that's where the fun started.

Even after letters from her and numerous phone calls to the CSA once these fuckers get their hooks into you they never let go.
This the second demand I have had off them so far, how they decide on these amounts is beyond me.

Sorry for sharing my..ahem.. problems, A fit of rage, half pissed, whatever.

Thank fuck for that! I stand by my previous comment though, ditch your job and they leave you be. It worked out ok, a previous employer is letting me work cash in hand for a while, I am actually earning more money (although illegally)

Anyway fuck paying tax for a while, our bent government(s) have been bleeding me dry for years. Fuck the lot of em I says!!!

ok, so where DO you come from chester?... i don't remember you ever saying..

and is there any chance of the legal system over there jumping in and bailing out my buddy's sanity?... because the one over here have just seriously failed him after he was persuaded to go reluctantly through the proper channels when 'psycho-ex' left his current girlfriend battered and bleeding across the road from my house

    Aargggh! Attacks on my anonymity!

Seems I've confused child support payments between parents with some kind of government tax. Apologies.

Bullshit taxes like this irk me - so I'm flim-flamming completely and saying MORE POWER TO YOU, STYMIE. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FIGHT AGAINST THE MAN!!

(I have a deal of personal experience with fathers who point-blank refuse to support their KIDS just because they don't like their ex-wife any more, so I may have flown off the handle a tad early.)

    Hey ... I still haven't said where I come from, have I?

That's cool, as long as you understand I wasn't encouraging him to completely neglect his kids. If your kids knock on your door in rags saying they need new clothes or something, you have to buy them some! But just because the government, in all their glory come knocking on the door cap-in-hand, doesn't mean you have to pay them anything.

Remember stymie, the only people who can fine you are judges. That includes shit like parking tickets and speeding fines etc etc. Ignore it untill they take you to court (which I doubt they will if your ex has written to them, they know she'll say the same shit in court anyway), and explain to the judge. 9 times out of 10 they have more sense than the police or government. In this case they know fine well you dont owe them anything, it will just be an accidental (on purpose) oversight on their behalf, hoping that you fold and pay them before anyone realises that you shouldn't be paying.

like i said.. she's not fit to be a mother.. y'know on their sons birthday.. she attacked my mate and beat the shit out of the bonnet of his car because he bought his kid the best bike in the shop instead of a 'tweenies' bike... this was in front of the kid...

i could type out a post detailing all the fucking psycho shit she's done that i've actually witnessed.. but it would take me ages... and if i included the stuff i've been told about it'd take me for-fucking-ever... (one example is smashing the fuck out of a young girls face because she was pretty)...

i'm just glad she's too scared to come causing shit at my house ('cos i'm letting my mate live here.. mostly for that reason)..

i was really quite worried when nursey came to stop here a couple of times in case 'psycho-ex' got whizzed up and decided to come knocking.. because i'd have had to show a side of myself i really prefer to keep quelled..

btw.. stymie.. don't worry about it.. we all like to vent sometimes (see above ).. at least you weren't being a whiny 'poor me' bitch about it

Just wanted to point out on this one aswell, that they're letting you be because you appear to them to not be earning enough to pay the backpayments you "owe" them. As soon as you start work (legaly) again, they'll be expecting payments to cover that period and back payments. It wont go away untill you've got it into their thick heads that you owe them nothing. But even so, a nice little workaround to gain more time.

    Etc...etc...etc...

Can I just point out at this juncture that if Highclass doesn't know how to play cricket he'd probably make an excellent England cricketer?

    Thanks.
