Is this going to make me angry because raccoons are one of my all time favorite animals.

I feel the same way about beavers.

Nothing bad happens to the raccoon.

The raccoon has rabies or is very ill. They don't come out in the daylight unless something is wrong.

    Maybe it's a vampire raccoon?

I told you. It was huffing freon.

I saw it later after dark drinking a Bud, smoking a Marlboro and trying to hump a dead cat in the middle of the road.

That's how I knew it was freon. It does that to people.

Poor little raccoon. I used to have about 8 of them living under my apartment and they would come out at night when I pulled into the driveway and greet me and wait for me to get their cat food. They were so sweet, you could actually pet them.

    I miss them.
