How do I disable the tracking chip in a cell phone?

Last night I found a cell phone, pretty sweet one with a camera, but I think it might have a tracking chip in it and I dont want to talk to the fucking cops.

So how do I disable the chip it? One guy I know said to put it the freezer for 24 hours.

 

unless u found a charger 2 its useless and if u want to have it activated in your name they'll book you cuz the phones regestered to some1 else who's likely reported it lost

 

Its a nokia, and I have a nokia charger, I have the prepaid phonecart from my old phone it it now and it works prefectly,

 

if they reported it stolen/lost they would have to have known the phones unique ID to give to the police... i don't know if this can be changed.. take it to a disreputable phone dealer to find out....

until then wrap it in tinfoil

You are a thief, plain and simple. If you "find" something of value that is lost, and make no attempt to return it to it's owner, that is theft of property.

I hate thieves. They are on the same level as child molesters, rapists, and murderers, all of which see nothing wrong with taking something that is not rightfully theirs.

I am sure you will rationalize why keeping the phone is not immoral. That is exactly what I would expect from a thief.

That or he is damn lucky... actually, I will pipe in with my two cents here on this one. WHen I was younger I would of definitly kept it as I felt the world owed me something and all that jazz. Nowadays, I just think about how I would feel if the shoe was on the other proverbial foot. But I also don't judge *ahem Barry ahem* . I guess it's mind over matter, if you don't mind it don't matter. I though would probably drop it in a mailbox and let the post office sort it out....

 

The other week I found a briefcase on the subway with all sorts of goodies in it, including this mans business cards. So i did the "right thing" which was call him, inform him I had found his briefcase and would mail it to him if he gave me an address which he very thankfully did and told me he would send me a small reward to make up for shipping, which the son of a bitch never did, so all in all I'm out 5 dollars and a briefcase full of goodies...no good deed goes unpunished....

 

Give me back my fucking cell phone!

I know that Barry told me he thinks (and I agree) that the feeding tube should never have been put in in the fuirst place. In other words, stopping treatment is not killing somebody. O D ing them Kervorkian style is killing. When you just stop treatment, it is on Gods hand and that can be the most merciful place to be.
