    BTW, if you ever do have to discharge another monitor, the reason you should put your left hand in your pocket is because if something goes wrong and the shock travels through your body, it will hit your heart once on it's way to your left arm, and then be forced to travel back and hit the heart a second time if your arm is loose.

    The 54 was a, aiwa, Sams Club was selling them, a few years back, I worked PT for a warranty company and they had some bad boards in them, So they ship me a box of parts, their little sheet said Install part A, reconnect test, install part B reconnect test, for like 4 parts, I think the issue was with the inputs, and the display. So I said f' this, and just put all the parts in at once and tested. That F'ing thing was heavy, I picked it back up, laid it against the wall and watched about a half hour of shrek 2 on it.....

    I didnt know that about those tubes, makes since though, the way you place the paddles of our AED across the heart, so the shock goes right to, and through, it.
