Seeing as you are now the proud owner of a dvd player, Here are my latest recommendations. 1. We were soldiers Another gung ho U.S.A. Vietnam film, Mel Gibson in it, in a word brilliant. Rent it and you will see what I mean. 2. Vanilla Sky I sort of enjoyed it, a little wierd but very watchable 3. Pearl Harbour Three hours, love story-action-love story. I could well do without the first and third parts but this is a must see if only for the special effects, I kept replaying them they were that good 4.Crouching tiger hidden dragon. Watching this tonight. Got me a 5.1 surround sound speaker set-up too. Add this little lot with Strong imported beer = a good night in indeed.
i'll get around to watching em.. but {insert nonplussed smiley here}.. but i got cthd.. watched it properly for the first time yesterday..
I remembered another one you'd positively love - The Manchurian Candidate Older flick with Frank Sinatra (1962) - you'd fucking love it.
