the camera just got thrown in the toilet. yeah... so guess that camera is gone... or do you think if it dried out for a few days it would be ok? I am sure it will not.

so when buying a new camera... I am guessing the mega pixel thing is what you want to be high.. maybe I will get a better one. so my stupid videos are clearer.

UHHH I am so pissed. :frown::mad::frown::mad::frown::mad:

well just got home , Went to eat and saw that Best Buy was having an after hours sale for Rewards people...

Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T90 12.1 mega pixel 299$ plus paid the extra 40ish for 2 year ACCIDENT protection... because I am retarded.. I am actually amazed the last one lasted this long with me and my brats. The Arab bought it right after the baby was born.. so I had it for 13 months.

I have not even opened it yet... but I am guessing it will make better videos. I did not buy another memory card, I hope my old one is not fucked up...

The memory card wont be damaged, just dry it. It's like those USB keys, I have washed those before because I left one in my jeans pocket and it works fine.

Too late now. She's already got a new one.

I don't use a digital camera much anymore. I use my camcorder and take stills from videos or just take pics with it. The quality is kinda shitty though. The camera I use is a Canon something or other. It takes videos too, but they eat up the memory pretty quick. Takes really great pics though.

I did not buy a memory card, the old one works.

    this might sound stupid but

Ok you put pics/video on the card , upload it, erase it... does its storage capacity go back to the same as when it was new?

also how do I , where do I go on my computer to see how much space I have used up.

I got the computer on new year eve... but did not plug it for weeks. 4GB DDR2 memory, 640 GB Hard drive.

Should I save my pics/videos on CD thingy? Do videos have to go one DVD kind?

This computer even puts art on top of the Cds... says DAV+/-R/W/RAM / Labelflash.

I am scared to it. My computer has been slowing down a little - I think I will call a computer guy to tune it up.

When you look at videos like youtube, youporn, tube8... is my computer downloading them? Are they somewhere on my computer... I never save those, just hit play and watch them.

It should, if you delete them off the card once you move them to your PC

if you open 'my computer' you should have a drive dedicated to the card, depending on your setup it might be 'removable disk', they usually like the lower letters (E:)

it shouldnt be a problem keeping them on the hard drive, for backup purposes I would burn them to CD or DVD regularly (if you dont mind losing them dont worry about it)

HP first came out with 'light scribe' for their dvd burners, it just puts a monochromatic image on the top of the disk, a lot better than those print/peel/stick ones that you use the CD Stomper for.

Lomo is a pretty handy cat when it comes to computers, you should invite him over and ya'll could barter a deal Im sure.

If you go into my computer and click on the 'c:\' drive it will give you a brief synopsis on the left side, you can also right click on it for a pie chart, and we all know how much you like pie.... :)

cool, thanks, I never click on anything..I am scared I will fuck it up.

and as for the pie statement- Eat me!

actually keep it up, no one ever cracks fatty jokes on me...except my sister. maybe because I am so fat and huge people are scared of me. They are scared I will sit on them with this massive gorilla like body.

maybe if I get teased and joked on ... it will help.
Kinda like those people on the talk shows "look at me now" I always found it funny that someone would bring a bully from high school on a TV show 10 years later .. to show off that they are no longer ugly/fat/nerdy... that now they are a stripper in a hot pink bedazzled spandex outfit and hooker heels with BIG bleached hair and fake boobs.
It is like the show is glorifying strippers... like that being one is something to be proud of, and a goal... Then the next day the show would be slutty 13 year olds, that dress like whores... that want to be strippers when they grow up... and they send them to boot camp.

I also have a penchant for filling up memory cards, amongst other things...
