...just waiting for him to recover from his busy night of watching a bunch of redneck cowpokes disco dance to rap music in the "Cowboy Capitol of the World." I think he said he took some video - can't wait to see that... Going to probably take in an opera, then attend a cross burning later on in the evening. Should be hella fun.
Nah... Divide that population by about 15. Perhaps this town isn't as well advertised. I was pleased to make his personal acquaintance, however, and we had a great time (in my town, mind you - about half an hour away from the redneck hillbilly reservation where he was staying...) We met at a favorite hangout of mine here in the city, played some pool, ate some good ol' greasy pub grub (forgot to order the damned "Scotch Eggs" though - THOSE are fan-fucking-tastic,) and then took a late night (albeit, brief) stroll through the peaceful and serene "Kumamoto En" (Japanese Tea Garden) where we educated ourselves on the psychosomatic healing of serenity, Chi, and true Japanese Ninja tactics of stealth, as we waited for the cops to leave so we could bolt on outta there...
