So, honestly... after owning it (and disregarding any failure rates you've noted with competing consoles) - is the PS3 really worth it? Despite the bonus of having a Blu-Ray player built in, and the fact that Schmed is beating your door down to watch Spidey 3 in all it's glory, I still can't think of any landmark games that it exclusively plays... ??? And tell me... Did they reuse the 'touch' technology that they used on my 80's Sony turntable for the eject button on the unit, or is it just my imagination? I've never 'fondled' a PS3 on my own, but the way the 'buttons' look remind me of my old-school LP player, where all you had to do was touch two separate metal contacts to activate the record arm... I've always wondered that.
well there are a few IP's that a re good, ratchet and clank, warhawk, and metal gear coming soon. I got mine with the Kmart screw, it's worth $300. AND YES, THEY REUSED THAT SHITTY TOUCH TECH. ALSO, THE ONLINE IS FREE, BUT YOU Get what you payfor
I don't mind that they reused that touch shit, I always liked it, to be honest... Wondered why it wasn't reused in current technology up until now, actually. I'm hinting at a PS3 for Xmas from my chick, but she's hit some financial burdens lately (car repairs, house taxes, etc.) - so it may be time to trade up and find someone new... Will keep you posted on the status, hell, I'll probably end up buying one of the fucking things myself.
