    Chester,

here is a link of a fella I fought when I was playing professional hockey, I never played in the NHL (Top League) but I did toil in the Minors in America and Europe. When I did go around with this fella I came out of it with a black eye, and a gash that required stitches under my left eye. He had a broken nose, and need stitches over his left eye.

This is just for perspective, if you ever come North America way I'll be happy to take you to game.

    Cheers!

I think my favorite Hockey fight of all time is when Tony Twist hit a guy so hard he cracked his helmet. It might have been Tie Domie that he cracked, but he knocked the guy out with one punch. Rediculous, he hit a guy hard enough to crack his helmet. It's hard to do that with a puck, let alone your fist.

I'll have to check that out at work. I've got a T3 at work, which is stupid fast, and then a 28.8 at home, which is stupid slow. It's like going from a Ferrari to a Volkswagen.

Best hockey fight evar was when that one dude skated up behind that other guy and dropped him with one punch. Broke the guy's neck, and now he'll never walk again.

That's not a fight that's a fucking cheap shot and the dude who did is a coward. Didn't he go to prison for that?

Saw my first hockey game Monday watched the Predators loose to Columbus Ohio team. Was a lot of fun enjoyed the action and the fan participation. Now I’m ready to go see the Stars play here in Dallas. It should be great.

    Cool, thanks Checkers.

We don't have anything remotely as violent in our team sports. You see the odd melee in Aussie Rules, Rugby Union and Rugby League, but the fighters get suspended for like 10 weeks. Tends to discourage them.

A guy just down the road from me, though, is an "extreme fighter". You know, the kind that goes one-on-one in a cage, with practically no rules.

I saw him one Saturday, limping, with two black eyes, so I said to him (joking) "I'd hate to see the other guy". He replied, "You can't. I put him in hospital for a month."

    Crazy fucking sport.

The NHL decided since Todd took out a Colorado team member that it was only marginally bad and let him play in Canada....
