Here is a place where you can download MAME... I just dl'd it, and got it working, just download the first one, "m32-057.zip" and you should be set.

(I think you said you could never get it to work, right?)

    Cabal ROMS

You'll have to register to download the ROM, there'll be a link to it in the download area.

Jus' helpin' a brotha out, y'kno what I'm sayin', yo?

Damn... that sure is a gay little dance the hero does when you finish the stage... Otherwise, the game seems fairly decent... I like how you can shoot most of the shit up, and I bet it works much better with the original trackball...

Ok Rev. This nigger is stupid. How do you configure Mame to play these games I've downloaded into the roms folder. Do I need to input any data to get it to accept my joystick or mouse as the input device? I can't figure this damn thing out and neither can the Grinch who stole Blackness. Lend a hand? Here are the games I have so far.

    Ataxx
    Cabal
    Lost Tomb

if you're using mame32 you have to let the prog compare the roms in the folder with the data it holds on what files should be in the zip...

can't remember how to do it tho.. it's been like 2-3 years since i used it

IMC: No, it won't play GC or PS2 games, it's strictly an arcade emulator... As far as I know, the 'latest systems' to be emulated are the PSX and the Saturn?

A fun one to mess with is the Neo-Geo emulators, I'm going to look for one here shortly and post it, but I'm far to smashed right now to find a working one... (The Metal Slug games are awesome)

Cheese: When you've got the program running, it does an inventory of the game ROMS you have and if you click on the folder in the left column (I think it's called "available") - it'll list the games you have in your ROMS folder... (***Leave the games in ZIP format when you put them in the ROMS folder***)

When you've got the program running, you might have to hit F5 to refresh it's library of available titles...

When the game is running, you can configure your controller or keyboard by pressing the TAB key, I believe... it brings up a menu and you can change shit through there, mess with the dip switch settings, switch to fast mode on Ms PacMan, etc...

Another game I recommend on MAME is BattleToads... I spent a couple hours with this one today...

If you want to see which game I'm fixing up next, click here.

    this game...

And finally, my next project, sitting in the garage...

You'll have to fuck with the controls on a few of those, but that should keep everyone busy for a while... (Remember, tab key for the menu, otherwise *most* games are set with a default of the arrow keys for the joystick, and left CTRL as button 1, left ALT as button 2, except on Assault, which you'll have to fuck with, I usually move the trigger to the space bar, and leave the twin joysticks as S,D,F,E and I,J,K,L...)

I know where you can get SmashTV. I found this awesome site for getting roms and emulators about a year ago. It's where I got all my roms for SNES and NES, Colecovision, and Atari. It's pretty cool.

Do you remember the Atari game where you had to swing on a vine and land on the alligators eyeballs and then go underground to collect gold bars and there were scorpions? It had a simple one word title, I can't remember the name, it's on the tip of my tongue. Ah, I loved that game. That and Bezerk was fun too.
