I thought it was odd that an actor of such high acclaim would subject himself to such a moronic endeavor.
I think you are a little to quick to dismiss a movie just because it is a comic book movie. You should check out the source material sometime, the comics from the 60's are classic. People place to much of a stigma on comics due to the fan base. The people who write and draw them put as much love and care into the storys as any great author would a novel. Granted not all comics, but you'd be suprised...trust me!
Not at all, he has been a fan since he was a child, in fact it probably makes perfect sense, he is living out a childhood dream, and he was one of the writers. Apperantly the movie almost didn't make it because Norton had a different ending planned than the other writers and he almost refused to finish the movie. Unfortunatly the reviews have been coming up short, most of the ones I have read say that the movie didn't have the heart that Iron Man or Spider-Man movies had, leaving it a glossy good looking action movie.
Actually I just went and read a few reviews from sites that I frequent and trust, they all gave the Hulk good reviews. The review I had read earlier was in the newspaper on the way to work....so now I have some hope for the movie.
Not at all. I liked Batman Begins, all 3 Spideys (some more than others), the first Fantastic Four, Daredevil was aight, Iron Man was awesome. I even watched the X-Men films (they were ok.) But I thought the first Hulk movie from 2004 sucked much ass. I thought it a precarious move for Norton.
I have some passes that I will use on this. I too was ticked at the first one, not wanting to get burned again I wait till I go for free...... Iron Man kicked a lot of butt. I too liked the spideys, even though I think 3 could have been made into at least 2 seperate movies. The best part of the FF movies was jessica alba. X-Men was kind of hit or miss, I wasnt really into them growing up, so not really into them in the movies.
Ohh good (about liking those movies), this movie has nothing to do with that first one, it was pretty bad. They are making this one to tie everything together for the 2010 Avengers movie...watch for Thor next year with Norton and Downy appearences....
Yes, but we were discussing the new movie...so what does that have to do with this conversation lunchbox?
He just likes movies with gay cowboys riding around eating pudding. So what is the verdict on this movie, worth the price of admission?
