Has anyone ever had bruises on their body not caused by injury that have lasted for months?

Get a blood test done. Preferably sooner than later.

This girl I know took a savage clatter off a hurley durin a hurling match, she had this big muther fucker of a bruise on the side of her belly for yonks, and then after about a month it went yellow, BLAH

incase ye is wondering, a hurley is a stick used in an irish sport, its a long flat hunk of hard oak, and to make it hurt more, they wrap the end of it with a steel brace, and varnish it up so its nice and hard... so to speak
