In some cases, the DEA has even seized property completely by mistake, and then refused to hand it back over after saying, "Whoops! Wrong guy!" As far as the proposition of going on a live radio debate goes, Dwaine, I would say go for it, provided that it is actually LIVE. It they pre-record it, then stay the hell away from it, as it will no doubt be butchered before they broadcast it. Although, the Feds (via some FCC clause) may just pull the plug on the debate if something that defies their agenda gets broadcasted. The thing that pisses me off is that our government was never intended to grow into the bureaucracy that it is now. The whole point of the Constitution was to keep the government caged, so it wouldn't blow up into this fucking mess of acronyms (DEA, IRS, DMV, FTC, and so on and so forth). So what does our government do? On a daily basis, they dupe us into acquiescing to their jurisdiction by basically contracting themselves out (1040 Forms, Drivers Licenses...those are binding contracts, people!), and we get legally held to it. I will repeat that Thomas Jefferson quote: "Never trust a government." I think I'm going to take off to Gibraltar now.
