Okay, I'm new to this game here, but there's something I thought I'd just like to bring up. I've read over the Hate Mail section on the main page of Fugly (one of the best sites) and I've seen a reoccuring theme. It seems that a lot of these writers are targeting the site as "a corruptor of America's youth". Okay, what the fuck is that suppose to mean? It's not like we're listing phone numbers for arms dealers or telling you how to make bombs out of bleach and rubber cement. This site has one purpose, really. It's for those who have, I'd like say, an enlightened sense of humor. People who come here arrive knowing that it's intended to be funny and that everything here is primarily a joke. What I don't get is how people can show up, look at something on the site, get so offended that they have to write a mail to the webmaster saying that they hope they burn in hell. Burn in hell? I wrote in a e-mail earlier to Fugly that if we could trace these IPs back, about 8 out of 10 would most likely originate from the Bible Belt. It's absolutely absurd how these people get bent out of shape. I'm guessing if someone farts at the dinner table, daddy has the right to shoot them for "disturbing the peace." These people are out of control and I just wanted to know how a exploding dog and a woman getting shot in the most fake of ways could possibly piss someone off so much. Anyways, don't hate me because I'm beautiful, hate me because you can.

Yes, they should, but you have to take into effect that a lot of people are plain stupid. I work retail, unfortunately, and if it's an undeniable fact, people are stupid and will fight for their stupidity until their dying breath. Also, most people (again, unfortunately) on the internet today have the intelligence of a shoe.... .wait wait, that's offensive to the shoe. In this AOL, MSN driven age of computer access, more and more people who really shouldn't be using a computer are. And these people who sign up for the 17,000+ free hours on AOhell, will take every opportunity to push their opinions on others. Granted, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but sometimes it's better to not say anything and keep a little dignity. Plus, like you said, hate mail does no good. Would sending a hate e-mail to the KKK site do any good? It'd do as much good as trying to light a fresh turd on fire, just ain't happening. I've been on the internet for a considerable amount of time, longer than some, but more have been on before me, and I just feel that the more and more this technology becomes available to those with nothing to say, the farther down the spiral those who have a brain in their head will be drug down.
