Dont worry, Bama will be visiting the peach state soon enough. Hopefully they will be undefeated when they get here. That will be a heck of a game.

    Did you realize....

...that Vandy is in sole posession of first place in the SEC? The best AU and UGA can do this weekend is tie them at 1-0. WTG, Commode Doors!

War Eagle. An impressive home win.

it's the 3rd quater with USC and Ohiyomomma.

Can we please just go ahead and banish Ohio from any future game that matters? USC looks bullet proof. I would love to see a one loss Georgia have a shot at them.

    knee- gro please.

We had our usual gut check game against USC, but unlike last year we came away with the W. Long flight out to AZ this week, hopefully they will head out on wednesday, to get used to the time difference. I think the game is a 7est game, so that isnt too bad....I just hate when East coast teams play out west and they play at 7 local time.

    1. USC (61) 2-0 1,596 2. Oklahoma 3-0 1,485 3. Georgia (2) 3-0 1,437 4. Florida (1) 2-0 1,414 5. Missouri 3-0 1,389 6. LSU 2-0 1,274 7. Texas 2-0 1,140 8. Wisconsin 3-0 1,076 9. Alabama 3-0 98210. Auburn 3-0 958

It's been a long time since I have seen Alabama ranked ahead of Auburn. I am not delusional enough to think that Alabama is really a top 10 team, but if Auburn can't find an offense, they aren't either.

Five SEC teams in the top ten. I can't see Missouri as a powerhouse, or Texas either. Wisconsin is simply not that good. USC is real good, and Oklahoma looks pretty solid. I can't see anybody beating USC, so who beat Oklahoma? Georgia has to play Florida, Alabama, Auburn and LSU. That's four top ten teams. Florida only plays Georgia and LSU. That really is unfair. Alabama and Auburn both play three top ten SEC teams, and Alabama has already beaten Clemson who was ranked 9 at the time.

Florida looks like they only have to worry about beating Georgia. They can lose to Tennessee, because Tennessee has Alabama, Auburn and Georgia on the schedule. I can't see them beating two out of three.

Freaking Gators. Easy schedule. I predict that no SEC team makes the BCS championship game this year, due to killing each other.

And USC will beat Oklahoma by 35 points.

That was a road win albeit the ugliest I've ever seen. I can't get used to a school that ran James Brooks, Joe Cribbs, Brent Fullwood, Bo Jackson, Rudi Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, Kenny Irons, even Brandon Jacobs now running the "spread."

Once in a while, you gotta line up under center in the power "I" and run right at 'em. I'm surprised Auburn didn't take a knee in the end in the shotgun formation. Maybe they could have snapped the ball over the QBs head and given MSU another chance.

Good "D" though. I hope they can score against LSU because the offense surely can't.

Barry, please dont ever bet on UGA again, you are like the Lee Corso of Fugly.

    Curse.....

    Damn you!!!

Yea, if we can win out, nobody can say we dont belong. I think both Ok and USC will lose. USC to Stanford (again) Sanchez's leg is only one twist away from being gone.

I actually didn't bet on Georgia. I took Alabama, UAB and Tulane. I won the Alabama and Tulane bet and lost the UAB bet by 2. Damn UAB. They put up good points two weeks in a row, and can't score a single touchdown on Tennesse.

I started with $55.00 and am now at $66.00. What is the sure thing this week? I am thinking Troy and Ohio State. I think that the fact that Troy's mascot is the Trojan may unnerve the Suckeyes.

I also doubt that Bama will beat the line against Arkansas, but I can't bet against my own flesh and blood.

Arkansas has Alabama, Texas, Florida, and Auburn back to back. Now that is tough row to hoe.

Here is the bets I am considering. Opinions?

Troy +20.5 over Ohio St (Ohio State has a broken spirit)

LSU -2.5 over Auburn. (I figure that LSU wins 3-0.)

Arkansas +9.5 over Bama. (Bama by 2.....9.5 is a bunch to overcome on the road)

Miami -3.5 over Texas A.M. (I think that Miami will beat them by 20)

UCLA +1 over Arizona. (UCLA can't be that bad can they?)

Tulane -6.0 over UL Monroe. (Tulane is due. They are decent.)

I am betting on 4. Help me pick the best 4.

LSU -2.5 is a lock. I can't believe it's not -9.5. AUs defense must be worn out by now (not to mention their punter)

I'd take ARK +9.5. I think Bama wins by 7.

Tulane is a better team than ULaMo, but are they worn down after Bama and ECU back to back? Maybe a close game but the Wave should cover with a 7 pt victory.

Miami's offense has been flat but TX A&M may suck even more. Hurricanes slap Texas again.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I am taking LSU -2.5. (Like I really need more of a reason to hope Auburn loses.)

I think Alabama is going to have to face the 'week before UGA curse'

Carolina loses to Vandy and falls out of the top 25 the week before UGA comes to town.

Az State loses to UNLV (who?) the week before the dawgs get there.

Is that the plan of the NCAA, UGA to go undefeated but all the teams they play are out of the top 25?????

    I think its a conspiracy.

Word on the street is that UGA VI was seen humping a Rainbow Poodle.

Thats bad Karma, not a conspiracy.

Brad Lester is injured, the spread sucks, special teams is weak, and the defense is tired. LSU will run all over Auburn. That number will surely rise as everyone takes the LSU action this week.

I agree that the spread sucks. Thats why I like it whenever UGA lines up in the power I.

Hell I prefer the Wing T to the spread.

As you predicted the spread went to 3. Probably will go higher. Against all wisdom I took Auburn and 3. Tuberville has a history of winning the first big game. He may blow others, but his history as an underdog against top ranked teams is pretty good. LSU is good, but not God. I think Auburn wins, or at least keeps it very close.

I also took Tulane -6 and Troy +21. I pretty much expect to lose all my money this week.

Just few Auburn trivia facts to make me feel not so crazy for picking them over LSU.

Aub has won 14 of the last 17 SEC road games.
Auburn enjoys a 15–9 record versus top-10 opponents since the 2000 season, and have won 9 of their last 12.
Auburn's home record is 14–2 in night games since the 2000 season.
Auburn has won 15 of their last 16 games when wearing all-white uniforms (as visitors. They will be in Blue and White Saturday, but they are the visiting team)

God I may choke on my own vomit when I write this - here goes -

    WAR EAGLE!.

You have done that since your first year in college......

I think you have a point with Aub, they usually man up for the big ones. Plus everyone is say ala-dam-bama is over rated (kinda like us).....
