It is really about all I do. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has many different schools of thought, but the basic premise is that if you change the way you think, you will change the way you act and feel. It is also much shorter term than psychotherapy. Here is a great website that explains it - http://www.nacbt.org/whatiscbt.htm I personally like Rational Living Therapy, RLT, which is a type of CBT. I know Aldo Pucci somewhat, and he is pretty decent. He has a workbook for self therapy that works. You can order it yourself, or I can send you one a little cheaper. http://www.rational-living-therapy.org/ Don't laugh, but I do some RLT with a workbook over the phone with my new security camera. The person I am talking to can actually see me in my office while we talk. I can't see them unless they have a webcam.
I think I may need it. I am getting desperate and I need to quit going to bed at 5PM everyday, but my head had been bugging me for days... like headachey. Feels like it could be tension.
