I got this cat or cats pissing on my storm door (also pissed on my little alpine tree and door mat so I had to throw them away) so I started putting food out for it thinking that it would stop peeing because it didn't want to piss where it ate. Today I found a beheaded mouse in front of my garage door. I am wondering if there is something that I can spray around my front door that it will hate and not want to come near. I'd take the smell of dog piss over cat piss anyway. That stuff is foul. Any ideas?
Have you considered spraying 40 grain .22 bullets around when the cat is there? Seriously though, you might want to consider a have-a-heart trap to catch the animal and take it to the local animal shelter.
Sarcasm? What's the matter with getting a have-a-heart trap. it's non-lethal and just might catch the feral cat pissing on your stuff.
some crazy cat lady told me she puts cayan (sp) pepper in her flower beds to keep her 34 cats from pissin in it ..
But then what do I do with it? First thing I did was get into my essential oils and poured sweet orange, grapefruit, lemon and tangerine all over the porch... didn't have cat pee smell then I put orange peels all over the porch and bought this orange spray stuff from CVS and sprayed it everywhere on the porch and didn't smell anything. Last night I didn't spray and it rained and this morning I saw the fucking thing walking through the yard... BIG black cat scaring off my birds and then when I left this AM, I smelled pee and saw where it peed on my birdfood bag and probably my deercorn bag as well. I am getting a container this weekend to keep them in because they look trashy sitting on the porch anyway, but WTF? I hate this cat. BM, I read about pepper too. The only problem is I don't want to hurt the chipmunks, squirrels, birds and other stuff around the house. Feeding them is what is probably causing that cat to come around. If it kills one of my chipmunks, it's fucking ON! I would be willing to catch my dog's piss in a container and pour it everywhere if that would work. Dog pee doesn't smell great but it's a million times better than cat piss.
Take it to the local animal shelter or better yet, call the local shelter to see if there's a group that catches feral cats in your area. There's a group around here (NH) that catches and rehabilitates them, no charge to the property owner. good luck.
According to the big book of Cat psychology, Cats have a huge startle response and will avoid any place that has once triggerd this response. I suggest that you hide by the door, and just as said Cat is positioning himself to urinate, jump out and scare the living hairballs out of him. It works. I did the same thing to my neighbors wife, and she hasn't come around since.

I will look into it because there was a local woman that did that shit. I kinda think it's a neighbor's cat that just stays outside and fucks up my little ecosystem I've got going.
