Simple fact - At a minimum, 50% of the people who are incarcerated for sexual abuse crimes are arrested again for the same crime after they are released. In other words, a 50% + rate of recidivism. In Denmark, a group of 900 convicted sexual abusers were castrated prior to release. Only 22 of them were re-arrested, a 2%+/- rate of recidivism. So, is castration for sex crimes a punishment or a treatment?

People who commit sex crimes should be chemically casterated. People who sexually abuse children should be phyisically casterated, have their fingers amputated, their tongues amputated, their eyes surgically removed and have a frontal lobotomy. No second chances. That way, their lives are just as fucked up as the lives of the kids they ruin.
