I can see how the same research ideology would transcend into so very many other explanations about peoples perceptions. I personally do not know of any previous lives I may have had and never connected with the idea this I was anyone previously but I am open to the idea of reincarnation. I tend to think people are either reincarnated into this hell or they get off the ship. In this world mankind makes its own hell in other words. But that’s a different story. Any who it is an interesting article along with the link at the bottom of the top ten mysteries of the mind. So enjoy: http://www.livescience.com/othernews/070406_past_lives.html
If I have been here before, does that mean I didn't get it right the time before? How many "do-overs" might I get?
You are referring to my theory about reincarnation? Well it's like this the battle between good and bad is a never ending battle. Ever hear the biblical parable about the wheat and the tare? Well Hell is simply staying on for another ride after the good have been separated. Of course you would possibly think "Well then wouldn't the population decrease?" People still reproduce in hell. I'm not totally convinced about different religions and interpretations of them. For example a religion that is adopted by a tribe in South America that has never been in contact with any other civilization. We discover them and assume they worship objects i.e. stars, moon, planets, etc. But what is misunderstood is that their interpretation is much deeper and untranslatable. Their perceptions are divinely inspired and objects like Sun as a representation are only over simplifications. People have an inherent nature in themselves to discern good from evil. This nature is acute and sharp as they are innocent and can see this clearly. As a person grows if they wander from the path of good they see less clearly the difference. At some point they no longer know the difference and can be easily manipulated. Eventually they die and are reincarnated if their heart is not pure. Man kind makes its own hell The Garden of Eden is not a physical place but instead a dimension one can live in. In the garden it’s really just as simple as following the “Golden Rule”. The problem comes with knowledge. I am becoming more and more convinced that knowledge has an inverse relationship to wisdom. We bite into the fruit of knowledge and are simply beside ourselves with the stupid idea that we are smarter then and that there are exceptions to this simple rule.
