Such a sordid soap and twisted tale like a soap opra. I do not try to follow it but figured you would be interested Schmed. You can only come up with so many unexpected scenarios reminds me a little of Star wars where Darth Vader is supposed to be Luke's father.
In this story the guy claiming to be batmans dad claims that he set up his death all those years ago... if you are really interested in the story just wikipedia "Bat-Man R.I.P.".
As a batman fan, I find this very sad. Even if Bruce Wayne lives, they are claiming this is the end of him as Batman. Just one more of my childhood heroes gone for good. While I'm at it...
