i think yes .. but i have friends who are identical twins .. and one is gay the other one is straight ... so i dunno .. wht do u guys think?
There is no such thing as gay at least not in the context of a natural instinct; it is not so much a learned response but a nurtured perversion I think.
Nature or Nurture? Is a person born Gay or do life experiences cause them to become Gay? Both. Genetics load the gun - nature Environment pulls the trigger - nurture Except for D-Dan. He was born Gay. Barry Both
I'm not sure why it really matters. People are gay, they're gay. People are straight, they're straight. People are bi, they're bi. People are undefined, they're undefined. whatever.
It matters. The human race can't be perpetuated by same sex relationships. If the human race becomes extinct, no one will be left to post on Fugly, and that would be tragic. Barry
You just proved they are not, I'm surprised Barry did not catch this. Identical Twins have the exact same DNA. So if one is gay the other would also be if it was Genes as they say. Since one is straight and one is gay that just makes it the simple fact you can not be born gay.
actualy grim it just means that not all gays are born... it still doesn't answer the question of nature or nurture or maybe both.... in some cases maybe only one.... it'll definitely be a tough nut to crack for both sociologists, psychologists, or geneticists
Nature. Overpopulation in an animal species will lead to measures to stunt the exponential growth of the species... This is just nature's way of putting a halt to the humans...
yeah but this is usually through disease or an exhaustion of essentials.... if it were true it still wouldnt really answer the question, merely refrases it to "is the natural rule of population reduction in overpopulated areas by genetic or social influences?"
FAG by choice There are too many stupid peeple born. rarely there may be a hormonal imbalance affecting a fetus which predisposes towards gender characteristics differing from the DNA sex. We've all known masculine chicks and femme males who don't choose to be butch or femme. On the other hand, the majority of gay guys seem to come from smother mothers and/or absent/weak or hostile fathers. I've often observed the mothers of gay men are more possessive and controlling than the mothers of straight men.
Hence the nurture theory, we all have inclinations. There was an Indian parable about the spirit of the black wolf and the spirit of the white wolf living in the souls of all beings. It was just there way of explaining the nurture theory. I wonder if anyone is familiar with that story.
That doesn't rule out the role of genetics in that. Maybe the reason they're smother mothers is they have inherent recessive traits that make their children more likely to be gay.
guys the nature vs nurture debate has been over for some time.... can you guess who won? neither did..... it's nature and nurture..... 80% if identical twins, if raised seperately will have the same sexual orientation whereas if they're raised together the number jumps up to 90 (my percentages migth be off as i'm too lazy to actually check my psych book) there we go debate solved the answer is yes and no............ but the conclusion is that gay people are not gay because they choose to be anymore than a heterosexual person chooses to be so
