Not working (yet), but a steal for only $50. I replaced a bulb in it, and it shows signs of life, just need to do a little research. Here's what it looks like when you power it up... The background's in great shape, the light really makes a difference. The discolored rectangle over the monitor is the color overlay, it's not centered (or even right side up, for that matter), but until I get more than just 'garbage' on the screen, it's not that much of a concern...
Now thats bad ass,its no Snax N'Jackson but cool enough, get that thing working and ill bring over a whole roll of quarters.
So lomo, what's your gig? You have a good connection somewhere in the cabinet industry or just find 'em yourself? I've been looking around for a Next Generation pinball machine, but can't find one for under $1300 or so.. Damnit. Too many geeks out there I guess.
If that's all the motivation I had to get it working, Schmed, I think I'd just leave the damn thing the way it is... zeek: I just find the them... or they find me. I've been collecting them for almost five years now (started out with one, had it for a year or so, it broke, fixed it, then started collecting more and more of 'em). They've really started to come out of the woodwork here lately, I just talked to this chick who has a Centipede with a broken trackball - I'm trying to talk her out of it... If you're looking for pins, good luck... They're expensive as hell to buy, and a pain in the ass to work on (lots of moving parts, wear and tear, have to keep the playfield waxed, etc...) If you've got the cash and can find a TNG pin already shopped for $1300, I'd offer a grand and work with the seller from there... Check out what this guy wants for his TNG...
