Any guesses as to what the hell was going on here? Professional help is obviously needed, but the big question is which kinds? And in what order?
Or the other dude is thinking, "I wouldn't touch this guy with a ten-foot pole.......this one's 10 1/2 feet."
This should really be in the photo forum, with "Caption This" as the title. "New Orleans Electric and Gas employees re-wire power poles post hurricane katrina, power has not been restored to most of the city"
Probably freaking out from paranoia after a week of smoking crack non stop. If not - simple psychotic disorder. Probably bi-polar or maybe schizophrenia. Either way - he'll be dead soon if he doesn't get some professional help.
I love that you're such a realist. Do you actually say stuff like this to your patients? If not, you should. Sometimes a reality check is more effective than anything else. Growing up I would have loved if my therapist would have just come out and said "If you don't get over your abandonment issues you're going to grow up to be a heartless, frigid bitch." It would have saved me alot of time and money.
The more they pay, the easier I introduce reality to them. I do have bills to pay you know. ...and there is a cure for heartless and fridgid. Choose to trust people anyway, even though you know you will be occasionally hurt. The pleasure will exceed the pain, so it's a good trade. Eventually you will find someone who you trust that will prove that they won't hurt you. At that point, just hang on to them and stop trusting everybody else again. Barry
I think i've avoided the heartless and frigidness I was probably prone to, but have to honestly say it was because I kicked myself in the ass, not because of therapy. I'm sure you're a great therapist Barry, some of us are lucky enough to just self medicate if you will. *ANother shooting star*.....
