I have come to the conclusion that I am in love with him.

I am amazed with technology - I dont understand it- but I am so great full for it.
Hell I am still amazed with power car windows... and I have had them for many years.

I wanted to slap my 12 year old nephew yesterday because he was bitching that he did not get a new cell phone for Xmas.. He is TWELVE and has a fancier phone then me. Gets in trouble for texting in class all the time. In my day - your passed notes, and everyone read them before passing it.

Have you noticed that pay phones are beginning to become a thing of the past also.

 

That sucks, too... There goes my line: "Look, here's a quarter - go call someone that gives a shit."

 

Imagine your kids having to walk across the room to turn the channel.

 

Kids shouldn't have cell phones. Teenagers should only have them when they start driving and they should only be able to dial home or 911. This cell phone shit is ridiculous.

 

My daughter has begged for a cell phone for a couple of years now, and we refused to get her one because she is too young. Well since we couldnt find a Wii anywhere for her x-mas. We caved and bought her a tracfone and explained she would have to work for her minutes. Her room has not been this clean in months,and she is cleaning out the dog kennel as I type.

 

Well, at least she is learning that she has to work for something...
