Does anyone have any experience with Amalgam dental fillings? I just read that they are 60% mercury and I have a ton of them. I'm wondering what, if any health problems might be caused by having a mouth full of mercury fillings.

I have two mercury fillings. I was to have another but the dentist is scary and I won't go back. I had them 'installed' or whatever two years ago and coincidentally this is when I started experiencing vertigo.

Thanks, dick. I'm starting to worry some.

I could have had the clear but the dick dentist said that the silver has a better seal and lasts longer.

gETTING THEM REMOVED IS WORSE, MERCURY IS ONLY TOXIC WHEN IT'S INHALED AND DRILLING THEM OUT WILL RELEASE MORE INTO YOUR BODY THAN LEAVING THEM. I believe.

Anyway, stop worrying about those and focus on what is really damaging you.

Those don't prevent the smell of burning tooth when they drill, and it's vapours that you are wanting to avoid with mercury.

Did you know...those suction tubes can transfer CJD (mad cow disease) from one patient to another.

And hepatitis and hiv. Might just be in the stinking, dilapidated U.K.
