Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer, and the bill for all ten
comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go
    something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
    The fifth would pay $1.
    The sixth would pay $3.
    The seventh would pay $7.
    The eighth would pay $12.
    The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the
arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are
all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your
daily beer by $20. 'Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.'

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the
first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free.

But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they
divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share'?

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that
from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end
up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would
be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount and he
proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

    And so:

The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued
to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to
    compare their savings.

'I only got a dollar out of the $20,' declared the sixth man. He pointed
to the tenth man,'but he got $10!'

'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar,
too. It's unfair that he got ten times as much as I!'

'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back
when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'

'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get
anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'

The nine men surrounded the tenth man and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat
down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they
discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between
all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our
tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit
from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and
they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking
overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

Something to think about in Obamas stupid tax plan.

Capital Gains tax. If the market took a 20% hit in just a few days then some actually virtually all people are not going to show the profits they showed in 2006, 2007, 2008. When those people are the ones paying 90% of the taxes suddenly his big tax plan looks pretty stupid.

And we can thank that market hit on the Democrats like Pelosi, Dodd, Frank, Reid, Obama.

Oh and also his statement that there are not that many companies in the 250,000.00 income range. A fucking McDonalds placed in the right location makes that.

I've learned one thing recently - don't waste your breath in talking sense into people caught up in the Obama "Change" propaganda machine...

If anyone seriously thinks Obama would be the right choice for the country, they should review this collection of what their messiah really stands for...

Of course, most of the Obama supporters are either misinformed, uneducated, and easily swayed independents, or those that are strictly blind, oblivious, and dependent on a government to provide not only their own needs, but the needs of their unborn future generations.

For those amongst us that will look at the facts with an open mind, I'll quote the above link (before it's erased from existence.)

(forum rules require me to split this between several posts)

Robert Malley – This former “informal” foreign policy advisor to the Obama campaign resigned in May 2008 due to allegations that he was meeting with members of the terrorist organization, Hamas. Malley dismissed his meetings with these contacts as simply being part of his job. But he is also anti-Israeli with a long list of op-ed articles – some co-authored by former Yasser Arafat advisors – with a revisionist slant and intent to denounce Israeli attempts for peace and security. Not surprisingly, Malley’s father was a fervent anti-Western, “Third-Worldist” who wrote about liberation “struggle” – leftist code for anti-capitalism and pro-socialist/communist movements.

Other Supporters of Obama and/or His Policies

    Hugo Chavez – Venezuelan dictator
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – President of Iran
    Fidel Castro – Cuban dictator
    Hamas - Palestinian/Sunni (terrorist) organization
    Party of European Socialists
FARC - (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia) Marxist-Leninist terrorist organization
Louis Farrakhan – Supreme Minister, Nation of Islam
    Democratic Socialists of America
    Communist Party USA (CPUSA)
Frank Chapman – Member of U.S. Peace Council Executive Committee (an FBI-identified communist front group)
Mark Solomon – National co-chair, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism
Joel Wendland – Managing editor of CPUSA online magazine Political Affairs: Marxist Thought Online
Pepe Lozano – Leader in the Chicago Youth Communist League and editorial board member of CPUSA newspaper, People’s World Weekly

    Closing Thoughts

These are not just associations. All of these connections are family members, close friends and “mentors,” and affiliations/organizations that Obama willingly participated with and in – and financially supported. If Barack doesn’t know about their past and their political ideologies, then he is oblivious to his surroundings and does not belong in the White House as the leader of our country. If he knew about these things but didn’t think they mattered, then he is beyond naïve and does not belong in the White House. If he knew about these things and openly welcomed it, then he’s just downright dangerous and does not belong on a local school board, let alone in the White House.

All of these incestuous relationships directly place Barack Obama deep inside the socialist/communist movements in Chicago. His plans and policies are radical and his associations and partners are mostly on the very far left of politics. Socialism and communism are not – and shouldn’t be – acceptable philosophies in this country, especially from a person running for president. This isn’t simply a matter of “guilt by association.” These relationships are long-lasting and ingrained into Barack’s political philosophy and ideology. There’s a reason why he will do anything and everything it takes to ignore, deny, or denounce every one of these associations once they are brought to the public’s attention.

This certainly is not "guilt by association," as many people will try to claim. That would imply that Barack Obama is guilty of being a terrorist because Bill Ayers is. It would imply that Obama is guilty of being a racist because Reverend Wright is. It would imply that Obama is a criminal because Tony Rezko is. From what we know, Obama is not guilty of those things. However, he is guilty of supporting and befriending the people who do these things. He sought these relationships. He chose his church, his political allies, and his friends. It was not a matter of unwitting association. This was willful participation. He calls these people "friends," "mentors," "close confidants," and "advisors."

These associations demonstrate a pattern of relationships with leftist radicals, criminally corrupt developers, and racially divisive activists. These relationships are not a matter of happenstance. Barack sought out these individuals and groups from his early days. He did not grow up in Chicago – he chose to live there and become part of the political "machine." He chose to involve himself deep in the leftist movement. His associations are a direct result of his decision-making and his chosen path to political power. He willingly participated in socialist-minded groups and worked with radicals and unrepentant criminals. He is beyond dangerous to this republic of ours and his policies are beyond destructive.

I still think in theory, an egalitarianism society sounds like a good idea.

I can't stand entertainers making hand over fist. I think a true "artist" would not expect to be paid a dickload for their craft.

I think money is dirty, feeds greed and drives people to do horrendous things. Which is why I would never want to win the lottery (don't have to worry about that... I never have and never will buy a ticket) because although I like to think I would do good with the money, I would be afraid that it would corrupt me and make me hate myself.

I don't really fucking care who is president. Everyone of them is a dirty human being and all they do is lie.

Id say your right about the money = greed and the freaking actors.

Lomo thats a huge dosier you have on Mr Teflon BHO.

Nothing sticks to that bastard I do not understand the brainwashed zombies that the Obamaniacs are. There is so much evidence.

And Palin well she fired a Ploice Chief for being derilict in his duty to fire a trooper driving his car drunk, shooting moose with his service revolver, tasing little eight year olds, and threatening to kill people. If that was a irresponsible decision then we need more politicians out there making irresponsible decisions.

Imaging if she was accused of covering for him?

Hey why is this trooper still working? Is it because he used to be a brother n-law?

Sadly, nobody will read it. And I don't mean the moderator, either.

I was so disgusted with the second debate, I turned it off around the 50 minute mark. Finally picked it up again a few nights later, and I think McCain did better in that latter half, but still... Add up the fraudulent practices in registering people to vote (c'mon - in the welfare line?!?), the rigged voting, the plethora of easily-led imbeciles in the 'States, and the half hour of prime time President-Elect Hussein has purchased... I don't hold out much hope.

I read it and am still surprised so many want to vote for this snake oil salesman. I don't hold out much hope for the country either.
