    ...Need the song.

Need the song that was on the commercial, the song that was probably playing when someone still-framed and cropped the picture that keeps floating around the web...

I'm not going to lie. I want it so I can make a ringtone for my phone, and assign it appropriately.

Throw stones all you want - I just need that fucking song.

    Any help?

Not the original, but here's a nice rendition of it:

That's the picture I spent an hour trying to find the origin of today.

I was trying to help, but it looks pretty grim. Are you certain it was from the 80's and it was from a commercial?

I'm pretty sure it was from the 80's - and that isn't the picture... It just put me of mind of the commercial. It shows some slow-motion marathon, and it has this inspirational theme song that goes with it. I know it has been parodied in movies or television, but I can't for the life of me think of a specific example.

One of those 'I'd know it if I heard it' tunes.

That sucks. The picture I saw was the one where it said something about arguing on the internet is like winning the Special Olympics. I tried to find the origin of it but couldn't.

Considering I have been a supporter of the Special Olympics since the 80's I know the song. I even looked it up and it is online.

However the fact that you make fun of those that are disabled, I shall not help you. You are on your own.

So you will have to stick with your current ring tone. Cotton Eyed Joe by the Rednex

I prefer Wild and Free, actually.
