Ok, I dont kno why, but doesnt it seem a little, if not a lot, weird that a presidential candidate would buy up a 30 minute ad like that? I thought it was pretty stupid. Essentially what he did was pay to have him be on an informercial, that's exactly what it looked like (from the 5 minutes I actually spent watching it). I dunno, regardless of anyone doing this, McCain, Obama, it just feels pretty tacky, I don't get why there isnt a genereal consensus of the same though.
That was a great video, heartfelt, and compelling. To bad I do not have a few hundred million to spend this week pushing it onto people’s television sets. Cause I would if I could.
Obama was trying to spend all that money he could before the election. It's weak. I did see a nice cartoon talking about 'spreading the wealth', they took a bunch of Obamas campaign money and gave it to McCain, I'll have to dig it up and post it.
A guy told me he did this but it sounds like an internet story that people adapt to their own. It’s funny as hell. So the guy says he is on his way to eat at "enter name here" place and on his way there is a bum with a sign wearing an Obama t-shirt asking for money to hold him over till Obama saves him. The guy gets a chuckle out of it and goes into the establishment where he is waited on by a waitress with an Obama t-Shirt on. At the end he tells her she did a great job and earned a nice tip and showed her a 5.00 then proceeded to explain that there is a man outside in greater need of the 5 then her and that he would be redistributing it from her to him. He then proceeded to leave the waitress got all mad. He gave the 5 to the bum who was glad to have the free money. He said he told the bum to thank the waitress and gave him her name.
Yea, that was in an email. Someone 'described' it to me the other day. Pretty funny/sad all at the same time. now had he said, 'we are going to move the tax burden to those wealthy enough to help support it' he might have had a point. But then all the celebrity endorsements he got would have fallen through.
People have an issue separating corporations and businesses from individuals. Obama has already lowered his 250,000.00 and above to 150,000.00 its gone from every Burger King restaurant to now include Billy Bobs Lawn service. When you tax business across the board in return they raise their prices. This is so fucking simple.... we just need it to happen so all the Obama-Tards can see it for themselves. Whatever.
Sadly, it's going to take a quite a bit of effort to recover from what happens tomorrow. With Obama at the helm, and a Liberal majority in the house, we're all going to suffer. It's a pity that we have to go through this charade every generation or so because ignorant people don't take the time to research or verify the information they're presented in propaganda... My thoughts? We're fucked. If I believed in a higher power, I'd ask it for guidance in the coming years of the obvious impeding Socialist regime. For now, I think I'll just hold onto assets and continue stockpiling firearms - while I still can.
