Ok, I'll come clean. Mr Fugly pays me to stir up the forums just to generate traffic. I'm really a 14 year old nerd with a speech impediment and zits. When you are 14 and have zits, you think everyone is smarter than you and therefore any forum must be an exciting adult think tank. Thats why.

I appologize for putting words in your mouth then. As for the issue of a victim deserving what they get, I'm still disagreeing.

I do agree that the idea that a male can be provoked to rape a scantily clad woman is ridiculace, however I do think there are different base motives underlying the two different actions (the tampering of the wish list), because they are two very different situations.

I think generally the consequences for our actions often involve the variable of other humans. Who expects their wallet to be returned with the cash still there?

I think maybe the difference for me is what I'd expect. I wouldn't be surprised at all to find my wishlist messed messed with. And depending what was on there, I'd hopefully be able to chuckle.

I was within 57 miles of the epicenter during the Northridge quake, and been pretty damn close to a few tornadoes since I moved to Oklahoma. Would rather go through a tornado than an earthquake; you can go to the storm cellar during a tornado, but where do you hide from an earthquake.
