The most fun thing I ever did in Philly was to get on I-95 and drive South about 1100 miles to the sugar white sand of Gulf Shores.

I'm probably missing something here, but wouldn't it be quicker, easier and cheaper to hire a local to take a picture and mail it? It's not like the deceased would be disappointed over your no-show.

On the bright side: if you do go, I'm sure that practically anything else you do there will feel like fun by comparison.
