I believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they posess inside. Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be.

Oh yeah.. and crack is whack.

Telekenesis, absolutely but not like you see it in the movies. I think everyone has extra senses that they just can't tap into or control.

I saw this on CNN and MSNBC. They can't find any dead animals killed by the tsunami in Asia. They say that, among all the destruction and death, they can't even find a single dead rabbit. Apparantly, right before the first waves came to shore, animals fled to higher ground. They just 'sensed' the danger and took off running. Strange but true.

I don't know about ghosts. I go back and forth on that one. I am 33 years old and still sleep with a night light. Logically, it makes no sense to believe in such things as ghosts but I have to assume that I don't know everything.

Just cause you don't understand what's going on
don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't
    mean it ain't no good

Who gets that reference (without having to Google it)? Schmed'll probably get that one.

    I think that made sense.

The only thing I know about the Mothman Prophecies is what I saw in the movie. Do you guys have any good links to more on it? I love to creep myself out.

Fact is, the movie is baed on true, documented events. That's what makes it super scary.

I think there is a better explaination for the animals.

    1. Animals are much better swimmers than humans. Many can climb trees, etc.

2.Many probably died in their burrows. The rabbits and rodents all scrambled underground at the first sign of danger, and thats where they died.

    3. Animals are much more able to withstand trauma. Getting banged against a tree trunk might kill a human, but a deer can take it.

    4. Most human deaths are the result of infections and dirarreah from ingesting/breathing bacteria laced water. Animals drink dirty water all the time, and have a much better immune system.

    5. Most of the humans that died where close to the coast in highly developed areas. These areas do not support a great amount of wildlife. The animals live further inland, where they would have a better chance to survive the flood.

I do believe that there may be some truth to ESP and TeleKinesis. I strongly suspect that pheronomes (smells we are not aware of) play a part in this.

By the way, the number you picked is 6.

The above is a picture of the "MothMan."

A crazy Prophet named Ezekiel saw something similar 3400 years ago.

It's kind of funny - some redneck sees this thing, and it's real. A respected religious person sees it, and he is a lunatic. Go figure.

From the book of Ezekiel Chapter 1 and 10

In appearance their form was that of a man, but each of them had four faces and four wings. Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had the hands of a man. All four of them had faces and wings, and their wings touched one another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved. Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out upward; each had two wings, one touching the wing of another creature on either side, and two wings covering its body.

    Spooky.....

Whoa. You know what? I've read more in the past three days than I have in a year. For some reason all I want to do is read more. I hadn't read a book or (god forbid) written anything in well over two years before this. Thanks for a different/stranger direction. That was really interesting.

If you come to Point Pleasant, you can see the mothman on the new bridge. He's made with Christmas lights. There is really nothing else to do or see in Point Pleasant except for this abandoned school nearby. We've had sightings of the mothman all over WV. I've lived here 27 years and luckily haven't seen him.
